a study of flower. faarrr from perfect. look at the leaves. no, not only the leaves. all of 'em. sigh.
i studied the flower from a picture i got from
naturegirl. i promise her to give the drawing when it finished, but i think this is not good enough, so, naturegirl, if you visits me, sorry, but maybe you have to wait a little longer...okay.. :-)

You are definitely your harshest critic. I think it is wonderfully soft and rich....a hard flower to paint!
Hi Enigma,
Your painting of the flower is lovely. You are too hard on yourself. You should stand back and look at your painting as if someone else has done it. You will see it in a different light. :)
Have you used the masking fluid yet? :)

I don't think I've ever met an artist that was totally satisfied with the project they just finished. It's what drives us to be better. Even the folks that are at the top of their game 9 times out of 10 are tortured. Keep up the good work! And thanks for your kind comment on my site.
so sweet! Thank you!
no amy, my harshest and meanest critic is my sister.. :-P
well i thought being hard on yourself is good..it motivates us to keep trying and trying. but from what i gather, it's not all good, isn't? okay, i'll try to be more positive about my works. thanks guys!
This is absolutely ~*perfect*~ and I apologize for coming by so late and making my comment! Thankyou so very much.I have backtracked to here and your paintings are wonderful!! You have the GiFt! hugs NG
