IF - claustrophobia

she suffered claustrophobia.., so she never went close to enclosed or confined spaces... and chose to play outside to rejoice fresh air and sunlight. :-)

This is simply breathtaking! She looks content in her forest, and the light coming through the trees is amazing.

I agree with amy it's breathtaking and the light is lovely steaming through the trees like that. Wonderful job!

This is great - a beautiful take on phobia (as opposed to a scary one). I agree that you get the light streaming through the trees really well.

What a sweet painting. Lovely use of colors and light to tell a story. I like the little girl and her serene face and butterfly.

Enigma, you're very talented :-) I really enjoy your paintings. Have you ever been taking part as illustrator in books?

Anonymous said...

Oh this is just stunning! It's the sort of illustration I would have gazed for hours at as a child, imagining all sorts of things. I love the sense of ethereal light.

thanks everyone ^_^
anonymous: i have, when i was in college, thanks to the adventurous chief editor, who liked to try out new 'artists'. the only book i ever illustrated (maybe they felt "that's enough!" ha ha). it was pretty ugly, and it's in black and white too, because back then i don't know how to use colours. now i'm on my way to pursuit it back.. yeah good luck, you. :-p
