Oh My!!!! Ella this is one of my favorite illos of yours!! I LOVE it. Is wonderful... The color is amazing, love the characters and the storytelling...oh look at the little mouse! Is Perfect!! :o)
Oh my God, it's sooo cute :) and so imaginative of you to interpret 100% this way :) You can definitely make a story out of this. The title can be : The Elf who wants to move the mountain :) (and as practice, he do this to his elephant friend everyday hehe :)
This is awesome! I love the way the elf is huffing and puffing and the elephant is looking a little worried he might get dropped! It would be a lighter load if the bird flew off!
its nice to hear everyone interpretation of the illo, however the actual story in this illo is that the elephant were scared by the mouse that the elf has to lift him.. you know the saying about how elephants afraid by mice? :D
Amazing colors, Ella, and a nice composition. I love how the elephant is looking at the little mouse, tense. I also like the shadow of the bird on its back, and how the elf seems to be taking big breaths to carry his friend. Just lovely and original!
Tarot cards, that's a really cool idea! As far as size, the illo with the kitties in the drawer is about 20 cm by 13 cm, more or less. I don't have the precise measurements because I haven't got it back from the framers, but that sounds right. I tend to work small... Hugs :-)
