Nice! It's a companion piece to the little girl with the red umbrella in the rain (was that your's?...now I'm not sure, but I think so). This is a very sweet piece.

OKay...so the picture I'm thinking of isn't here in your 2009 posts, but I can still imagine it...what a lovely tour I just made through your 33 posts this year. This is such a FABULOUS collection of images. WOnderful work for a year. I'm impressed! (and a little envious).

I have been there and it is not a comfortable situation. Poor little thing! She is just wonderful. Love how you depicted the umbrella turning inside out!

Wonderful illustration! I can feel the wind coming from my screen and I wish I could help her with her umbrella. The movement in the hair is fabulous.

That happened to me today! It's been very windy and rainy over here. :-)

You can feel the wet wind so perfectly, Ella. I love how her hair is flying in every direction!

This is so cute and fun! What wonderful detail you have in this beautiful illustration. It's just amazing. Great job on this. You wanted to know there was three post on WWW with the same theme. It was really by accident honestly. First Monica posted her's and I had already done my illustration a while back so I told her that, "Great minds must think alike because I had done a picture almost like hers. One of the other artist on WWW notice and after posting her own illustration for father's Day thought it would be cool to try to do one of a different type of animal, but kinds the same theme. No need to fellow. Just wanted to do something fun and funny. Hope that you are having a wonderful weekend. Thanks so much for sharing,
V
