trying to paint with oil again. i really really want to master this medium because the color is strong and vibrant and you can easily building values with oil. i copy the style from other artist's. i think it's ok if it's for the sake of learning...as long as you don't confuse them with your own style.

I think you're a natural with oil as well, Ella. It is indeed very vibrant, and I love the creamy texture.
And I agree, for the sake of learning, copying other artist's styles is a great way of improving technique and finding one's own look.

Oil is a tough medium and takes years to master. But looks like you've got a basic hang of it.
