she suffered claustrophobia.., so she never went close to enclosed or confined spaces... and chose to play outside to rejoice fresh air and sunlight. :-)
Oh this is just stunning! It's the sort of illustration I would have gazed for hours at as a child, imagining all sorts of things. I love the sense of ethereal light.
thanks everyone ^_^ anonymous: i have, when i was in college, thanks to the adventurous chief editor, who liked to try out new 'artists'. the only book i ever illustrated (maybe they felt "that's enough!" ha ha). it was pretty ugly, and it's in black and white too, because back then i don't know how to use colours. now i'm on my way to pursuit it back.. yeah good luck, you. :-p
