    The child in your illustration looks so serene and content, with the comforting presence of the moon (like an old friend) hovering in the background. Nice job!

    Both your entries are lovely. This one in particular is very sweet. You've captured such a serene moment, the little girl snuggling with her red blanket at her tea cup under the moonlight. Very special...

    I like this image and very poetic. The technique for my texture is layering paint but wait for each layer of paint dry, then adding another layer. Besides, I use hot press watercolor paper which is less coarse and easy for me to blend and I can do the pen and ink work on the top. The brand I use is Fabriano.
