I wonder what happened here? Why does the cat seem so betrayed? Or is it like a mutual thing, and as we all know, cats are very full of themselves, and the girl is doing the righteous thing and attempting to make things well? This illustration is very intriguing, and makes me want to know more.
I'm just sitting here wondering what happened between her and kitty? This is tooooo funny. I love it! I bet you stroked his fur the wrong way, or stepped on his tail while jumping rope or something. I love the look on the cats face. He's not to trusting right now of her. Prefect illustration.
Both pictures appeal to me, but the teddy bear touches me the most. With it only being one color it lets us focus on the actual meaning of the picture instead of the different colors.
I do love the cat it gives it more of a lively feeling and kind of reminds me of the time I accidentally bumped my cat into a bath tub full of water =)
Love the hurt expression of the cat...

ha ha the little girl probably just accidentally stepped on the cat's tail and the cat was feeling hurt emotionally and physically. LOL!

ReplyDeleteEnigma may be right-- maybe the girl did step on the cat's tail. That's why the cat's keeping it away from her! Lovely, sweet illo!

ReplyDeleteThis is so funny, this happened to me with my cat when I was little...but she wouldn't forgive me until I suffered for a few days :)

ReplyDeleteAdorable! but I think kitty is still a bit bitter!
ReplyDeleteYes! Good choice on the cat! The Teddy bear one is sweet, but I like the kitty one better. I can totally relate, I'm always ticking my cat off :)
