i'm going to do the tag from Isabelle because it's been so long since i did that and i thought it'd be fun. thanks Isabelle, I’m honored and I loooove your works. the task is to list seven facts about yourself. here goes (i could only come up with five though, at this moment).

1. i don’t eat raw meat.
2. i like movies about music, like this, or this. the story is simple—yet, well executed---and the music is...what can i say... amazing.
3. i like old style Chinese paintings.

4. i like watching cooking programs despite the fact that i can’t cook *shame*
5. i like the thin and young Jamie Oliver. okay that's really random but i dont know what else to write. it's true, though. : D

i just happened to remember a scene from the movie "Love Actually" when the guy showing the girl his writings on papers about his feelings for her without saying any words. then i was listening to this song 'Creep' by Radiohead while doodling and i thought it would be interesting to use their lyrics instead of the original words from the movie.

ps: i changed some of the lyrics to fit the space..

my little brother used to have an imaginary friend when he was small...a sheep. hah, too funny. and now he's about to get married. well, congrats little but-not-so-little brother!

note to self: never use this paper again....terrrible for watercolor.

i'm sure a lot of you illustrators can relate to this. when you feel like burnt out, bored, or tired with all the same ol work everyday---draw, paint, draw, paint---sometimes it hits you to the point that your brain being 'dead' and your mind is just blank and you keep thinking, "what should i do with this?? where does my muse go?" but then you remind yourself that you do what you love, and it's all that matter. and as with any good relationship, you have to work through the hard times. that's what makes your relationship long lasting, i guess..
