Ooooo... I get cold just looking at them. Even their nice layer of fat won't keep them warm for too long. Wonderful effect with the snowy blowy background.
um...Wow! This is so beautiful! I just LOVE your work. The contrast of the bright coats against the grayish trees is striking and beautiful. Well done!
Sweeeeeeet and cold! I love your piggies..especially the very first one. How do you get your characters to turn like that?!! It's always a treat to see your work.
Hi there! I love your style - it's absolutely adorable. I noticed that you live in Bandung...it used to be my hometown for almost 10 years! I'd love to know more about you :)
Bisa dong, bahasa sunda juga bisa...hehehe. Ilustrasimu juga keren2 bgt - pakar cat air ya? Aku plg hobi pake pensil warna, tp seneng jg eksperimen pake yg lain2. Salam kenal juga ya! :)
Kalau soal kertas sih aku pake macam2 tipe, tergantung kebutuhan dan mood. Semakin halus permukaannya semakin halus efeknya, tapi jelas semakin lama bikinnya. Favoritku malah kertas fotokopi biasa loh! Btw, dulu Ella sekolah/kuliah dimana? Aku alumni FSRD ITB, siapa tau ada yang kenal...
:) pensil warna? humm... i use an ointment. im not an artist or illustrator or whatever, actually im a witch... a dangerous one :D lol
Here is my very very secret recipe: Take the gall of a bull, ants eggs, some fat of a white hen, the blood and fat of night birds to bind it all into an ointment, all mixed together. But at first wash them with rose water and marygold flower. In all probability, if you ate this ointment, you would die from the various poisons, so don't. Just rub it on the paper before you start drawing.
everything in this piece is perfect! your colour choice is so wise, the grey snowstorm background against three pink pigs and their colourful cloaks/scarves is awesome! your illustrations remind me of Beatrix Potter.
