inspired by a scene from Alice in Wonderland, the part when Queen Heart's gardeners paint white roses into red.
here's the original quote from the book:

"Would you tell me," said Alice, a little timidly, "why you are painting those roses?"

Five and Seven said nothing, but looked at Two. Two began in a low voice, "Why the fact is, you see, Miss, this here ought to have been a red rose-tree, and we put a white one in by mistake; and if the Queen was to find it out, we should all have our heads cut off, you know."

oil experiment

trying to paint with oil again. i really really want to master this medium because the color is strong and vibrant and you can easily building values with oil. i copy the style from other artist's. i think it's ok if it's for the sake of learning...as long as you don't confuse them with your own style.

my painting career has leap to another level. i paint shoes now! hehe, just kidding... this is just for fun. inspired by this students who make their own money by painting shoes and sell them to other students. and i thought..hmmm, i can do that too. not actually selling, i mean, just the painting part. too bad i can't wear them because the size is too small (the shoes are actually my mother's and was originally white).
