Looks goode to me too~! Is it on paper? Maybe the paper picks up the water too quickly and dried it out? Try some on a smooth board perhaps. No tooth makes it tricky but interesting
andrew: yes, it's on paper. envelope paper, to be exact...you know, the brown ones. well, that's what i don't understand about acrylics, they dry too quickly. i think i really should try to do that on board..
I actually LOVE this... I was browsing through your blog with my son (we found you through Illustration Friday)and this particular one we can relate to. Confined is how my son felt a year ago. He actually likes seeing the different ways of expressing things that are not necessarily happy but that offer a way to heal. That is what his drawing is about (he´s obessesed with angels): healing, and that´s why I´ve helped him create his blog. thanks for inspiring!
Giaco: wow..it's truly an honor to be able to inspire other people, thank you! i agree that being different is never wrong, in a positive way, of course. i'm sure your son if gifted in some way. will visit your blog soon!

You underestimate the strength and charm of a more raw style that comes through for you in this medium, I think!
