ps: does anyone know how to make the space for blog content bigger? the image is actually big and it frustrates me that blogger limiting the width of images we upload.

Kalo mau adjust space blog, harus utak atik html settingnya, say. Coba deh ke customise, edit html, lalu scroll down cari 'main wrapper'. Adjust aja width-nya. Tapi jelas harus trial and error dulu, karena kalo satu hal diubah yang lain suka ikutan juga... :)
very nice, the water the smoke and that angry octopus are all very awesome. Did you figure out the space thing? I was having the same problem it's frustrating.
You can widen the blog post area in the html code (save your existing code first in case you mess up and need to go back to as it was). Lots of places on the web tell you how to adjust the code for different parts - just google for blogger tips... but the image shows larger when it is clicked on, so it isn't really a problem. Larger images on the blog page would really slow down the page load.
June: thanks for the info. i've tried to change the html like amalia said, but it still didn't work, lol. if i get the space widen then the sidebar would be located at the bottom, etc. i haven't tried googling though. i actually prefer the showing image larger, albeit it would slightly slow down the page load, because i think larger image makes a great first impression. people usually don't bother to click the image to see it larger.

beth: i've looked up and the common word in UK and US for plural octopus is 'octopuses', although the grammatically correct word would be 'octopi' or 'octopodes' :D
