i was tagged by the talented Alicia Padron to list five random things (embarrassing things?) about myself. well...here goes.
1. sometimes i like to use my watercolor brush to hold my hair.
2. i'm pretty squeamish.
3. i once wrote a fan mail to a football player and got replied (he sent his picture with his signature on it....! :-p)
4. i'm more a tea drinker than a coffee drinker.
5. my future kids will be named after football players' .... no, i'm joking. :)

IF - superstition

where i lived, there's some kind of a belief that when a certain birds called "sit-uncuing" (in my mother language, that is) making noise for days/weeks around some people's place, it's believed that someone is going to die. i'm not a superstitious person, but this thing was happened when my late father passed away two years ago. for like two months the air was heavy by the birds' singing. after my father died, the noise was gone.

IF - scale

i've been wanting to make Tarot card theme for IF's topics since last month, and have been waiting for the right topic all along. finally, this week's challenge seems really fit for that. so here it is, a major arcana, 'Justice'. only i didn't want to make it spooky-full-of -symbols tarot kind of way, i chose the silly kind of card. :D

and here's another sausages for those of you who had left comments on my last post: you have really made my week! (pssh, they are sleeping now.) ^_^

IF - hats

here i played a little with my paint and brushes. boy, its really took some courage to do this, as i always worked kind of tidy with my previous works. but it is something that i have to do. to learn new styles.

from a movie scene

a doodle inspired by a scene in an Iranian children movie. its about a little boy who lives with his grandma and his pet bird. a very sweet movie.

in case you're wondering, the writing's said: "but grandma, i want to feed the bird!"

update: i fix the color with photoshop to match the original piece (the scan result didn't represent its real color).
