IF-Run: runaway from destiny

still in the spirit of medieval, here's my version of Romeo and Juliet, trying to runaway from destiny.
i copied the style from medieval manuscripts. this is supposed to be more gloomy and surrealism-like, but with pen and these colors, it turn out ridiculous..he hehe. ah well...at least i have fun, browsing those beautiful old manuscripts.

beatiful work and smart idea...guess it will take time to depict the whole holy book's parables...so you better run!
:)

Not ridiculous at all, but I do hope maybe this time the young lovers will escape destiny and make their way to a happy ending. Great illustration.

Very beautiful! & I agree w/twisselman= not ridiculous at all- it all works great! (Hey I sort of quoted a small bit of the same old play in my "run" post- thanks for visiting).

I remember seeing your first IF drawing and wondering why you were intimidated by IF artists cause it was very good. Then when I got your comment I came back here and you have some great pictures on this blog. The one for match is wonderful. I don't mind when the power goes out at all for the reasons you mentioned. Nice Work!

thank you everyone for your nice comments!
bobdylan: it was a) because most of IF artists are pros (!), and b) because i rarely get compliments for my works, not even feedback, and if there is any, mostly not an encoucaring ones, hence i never know if i'm good enough or bad. i'm thankful for joining IF because i get a lot of knowledge and experience here, and felt encouraged to be better and better.
