illustration friday - play
i'm in the mood for fairies, with light and everything. so i thought i will stick to the idea and put some music to fit the theme. so here it is, fairies playing music and dance happily around a bonfire. "careful, you are too close to the fire!"said one fairy to her friend. but the fairy act as if she didn't hear her, because she had too much fun playing with the fire.
i'm in the 'learning-watercolor' process, so you have to understand my clumsy strokes and poor (not satisfying) background and forest. i've just began to practice the color wheel. i've not yet read the color theory. just have a go and make mistakes.

I was really happy to see this lovely painting of playing fairies. It's a creative take on the topic. I think your watercolor is really nice here--your colors really say evening sky and firelight. Just beautiful!

thanks everyone! i put a lot of effort here..but still not satisfied enough. hmm.
It's cute! I can't offer any constructive criticism as I'm still learning watercolour too - not sure of what I'm doing either!
