IF-Run: runaway from destiny

still in the spirit of medieval, here's my version of Romeo and Juliet, trying to runaway from destiny.
i copied the style from medieval manuscripts. this is supposed to be more gloomy and surrealism-like, but with pen and these colors, it turn out ridiculous..he hehe. ah well...at least i have fun, browsing those beautiful old manuscripts.

  1. beatiful work and smart idea...guess it will take time to depict the whole holy book's parables...so you better run!

  3. Not ridiculous at all, but I do hope maybe this time the young lovers will escape destiny and make their way to a happy ending. Great illustration.

  11. I remember seeing your first IF drawing and wondering why you were intimidated by IF artists cause it was very good. Then when I got your comment I came back here and you have some great pictures on this blog. The one for match is wonderful. I don't mind when the power goes out at all for the reasons you mentioned. Nice Work!

  12. thank you everyone for your nice comments!
bobdylan: it was a) because most of IF artists are pros (!), and b) because i rarely get compliments for my works, not even feedback, and if there is any, mostly not an encoucaring ones, hence i never know if i'm good enough or bad. i'm thankful for joining IF because i get a lot of knowledge and experience here, and felt encouraged to be better and better.
